Dear Jennifer,

After looking into the American Empire — a regime I only just discovered, somehow — I have come to the conclusion that Canada is the only country in the world that has ever been treated nicely by the Empire. How can that be? What does that make Canada? It makes our own land of the beaver The Bride of Frankenstein! Canada is like today's First Lady, Laura Bush, who seems to have had a lobotomy. That procedure allows Laura to smile sweetly (and stare vacantly and slightly cross eyed) as her husband, George II (or is he George III), commits atrocities hither and yon. Sweet Laura, like Canada, is The Bride of Frankenstein.

It's all coming together now.
